Thai guy dancing with 3 poisonous cobras at King Cobra show / snake farm in southern Thailand. These guys actually get phone calls from the locals who have a snake in their house or garden. From there they are caught and brought to the snake farm. This has the effect that these snakes are NOT killed by the locals but are being fed and taken care of. The poison milked from these snakes goes to the local hospital where the antidote for snakebites is produced from this poison. Unfortunately, the antidote is restricted to doctors only which means the guys at the farm are not allowed to keep any of the antidote at the farm (it is very hard judge the right dose for treating the snakebites). In case of a bite they have to travel 20 minutes to the next hospital which is – in case of a bite by the King Cobra – not enough time before the poison kills the victim. Some of the guys we have seen have terrible scars or even lost a finger or two, so this is seriously dangerous !
