Secret Seven Catfish Bait is a catfish dip bait manufactured by the Team Catfish firm based out of Grove Oklahoma. Team Catfish commerce a number of catfish baits and other tackle geared towards catfish anglers, including hooks, fishing rods, fishing tackle, and other accessories for catfishing.

Secret Seven Catfish Bait is the first of two prepared products that have been released by the firm with the second being a fiber based catfish punch bait called “Sudden Impact”. The former product is a dip bait for catfishing.

The firm states on their website that the method was created by a retired chemist that was based in Illinois that worked on the method for over seventeen years before perfecting it and it being manufactured and sold by their company, but that the method inventors house had been catching cats with it for many years prior to its issue to the public.

Secret Seven Catfish Bait is a dip style which means it needs to be fished with a “lure” to keep it on the hook. The most base examples of this are dip worms, dip tubes and other similar style “lures” many of which the firm commerce and sells under their brand name.

The worm or tube is dropped into the tub and stirred up with a stick to saturate attractant onto the lure and then it is removed from the pail or holder using the fishing line. Once this is done you are baited up and ready to start catfishing.

These style products are most sufficient for channel catfish but an occasional blue cat may be caught using them. Most hardcore catters don’t select prepared baits for blues but they can be sufficient in inescapable situations and using inescapable techniques.
