ลักษณะเด่นของหมู่เกาะในทะเล อ่าวนาง (Ao Nang) ในบริเวณอ่าวเต็มไปด้วยเกาะแก่งมีทิวทัศน์โดยรอบสวยงามแปลกตากว่าหาดอื่นๆ ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นเกาะภูเขาหินปูน น้ำล้อมรอบ ด้านหนึ่งของอ่าวเป็นภูเขา มีถ้ำ เรียกว่า ถ้ำพระนาง ภายในถ้ำจะเป็นหินงอก หินย้อย สลับซับซ้อนเป็นชั้นๆ และมีหาดทรายที่สวยงาม ได้แก่ หาดไร่เลย์ หาดถ้ำพระนาง หาดน้ำเมา ซึ่งหาดทั้ง 3 แห่งนี้ ไม่สามารถเดินทางโดยรถยนต์ได้เนื่องจากมีภูเขากั้น มีแหล่งชมแนวปะการังน้ำลึก หมู่เกาะส่วนใหญ่จะมีหาดทรายโดยเฉพาะเกาะ ปอดะ หาดอ่าวนาง และหาดนพรัตน์ธารา จะมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยว เช่นที่พัก อาหารเครื่องดื่ม เป็นต้น จากตัวเมืองมีรถสองแถวไปยัง อ่าวนาง ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 45 นาที

While Cha-am is a district in Phetchaburi, Cha-am Beach is beautiful as neighboring Hua Hin Beach.
